    • Resume/CV, job descriptions, or career history if you choose to upload or enter them for mock interview purposes.
  3. User Content
    • Interview recordings, typed responses, and feedback interactions generated through our Service.
  4. AI Processing Data
    • Information processed by OpenAI’s API (e.g., your interview questions, responses, and feedback interactions) to generate AI-powered analysis.
    • Per OpenAI’s API Data Usage Policy, OpenAI does not use your data to train its public models.
  5. Usage Data
    • Information about how you interact with our platform, including which pages or features you use, the time spent, and diagnostic data to help us improve performance.
  6. Communications
    • If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we may keep a record of that correspondence and any personal information you provide (e.g., email address).
  7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
    • We may use cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies on our website to collect information about your device and browsing activities. This helps us analyze website traffic, personalize your experience, and remember your preferences.

    • To process subscription fees or other payments securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card details.
  4. Service Improvements
    • To understand how users interact with our platform, improve performance, develop new features, and tailor your experience.
  5. AI-Generated Feedback
    • To share interview responses with OpenAI to generate personalized interview feedback. OpenAI may retain this data for 30 days for abuse monitoring, per their policy.
  6. Communications
    • To send you important information about your account, Service updates, or changes to our policies.
  7. Marketing (where lawful)
    • To send promotional materials about our products or services if you have opted in or it is otherwise permissible under applicable law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time in your account settings or by contacting us.

    • To comply with applicable legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.

5. Legal bases for processing

We collect, use, and disclose your personal information where we have a lawful basis to do so, including:

8. Data retention

  1. User Content
    • For practical purposes (e.g., further analysis or improvement), we may temporarily store recordings or transcripts. Recordings are automatically deleted after transcription.
  2. Account Data
    • Retained until you choose to delete your account or request erasure.
  3. OpenAI Data

We will retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or for as long as legally required.

9. Data security

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. This includes:

  • Bubble.io Infrastructure: Security measures provided by Bubble.io for data storage and encryption.
  • Stripe: Secure payment processing with PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Access Controls: Limiting access to personal information to employees or contractors on a need-to-know basis.

Despite our efforts, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

10. International data transfers

By using our Service, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, where Bubble.io, Stripe, and OpenAI servers may be located. When we transfer personal data from the EU/EEA or other regions with data transfer restrictions, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally valid mechanisms to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for subscriptions. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing cycle.

13. Children’s privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so that we can promptly delete it.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  1. Third-Party Actions: Failures or breaches by external providers (e.g., Bubble.io, Stripe, OpenAI, or Google).
  2. User Negligence: Unauthorized account access resulting from weak or compromised credentials.
  3. Accuracy of AI Feedback: Any inaccuracies in OpenAI-generated interview feedback. The AI feedback is provided for practice and informational purposes only; it should not be considered definitive career or hiring advice.

15. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top and make the updated policy available on our website. Your continued use of our Service after the posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the amended Privacy Policy.
